Amitabh did ‘Chehre’ for free, paid for his own travel ticket: Anand Pandit
Mumbai – August 26 (online): Amitabh Bachchan hasn’t taken any money for the upcoming Chehre movie.
Speaking to a media outlet, film producer Anand Pandit revealed that not only did the actor pay for his trips, but Bachchan displayed a professional attitude throughout his filming scenes.
“To avoid any problems when filing the tax books, we have decided to give Amit ji the friendly appearance credits.” He added: “Monsieur was so professional and committed that he also put his own money into commuting.”
Director of the film, Rumi Jafry himself praised the main actors Amitabh Bachchand and Emraan Hashmi. The film also stars Rhea Chakraborty and Krystle D Souza in leading roles.
“After we finalized Amitabh Bachchan for Chehre, we started looking for other actors. I was looking for the second lead role and Emraan was a perfect fit for the character I had imagined. Even though I had never worked with him before, j “Had heard a lot about him in the industry. He really is like Amit Ji when it comes to professionalism – dedicated, hardworking and doesn’t allow anything to interfere with his work,” said Rumi.
