Tirumala: TTD filed a lawsuit against Chennai-based Revati Padmavati Travels on Sunday for deceiving worshipers in the name of booking Darshan Srivari tickets online. Sending a strong signal against brokers and agencies who deceive the devotees into luring them into providing them with VIP tickets for darshan, laddu prasadams, etc.

The TTD said in a statement on Sunday that the online quota of Rs300 Special Entry Darshan tickets (SED), Kalyanotsavam tickets, etc. was regularly released on the 20th of every month for worshipers to book tickets in advance online and urged them not to approach unauthorized people or agencies to obtain darshan tickets.

He added that he had created a convenient and user-friendly digital installation on his portal www tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in where devotees could book their tickets with the Aadhaar card and address and there was no need to depend on brokers. The TTD has warned that strict action will be taken against all those fraudulent agencies and brokers who meddle in the feelings of the faithful.
